Lunar Eclipse

This one is through my standard 50mm telephoto lens. I really should have pulled out my zoom lens, but it was cold, and I wanted to go to bed.


But this one is spectacular. This is from my friend Jeff, who shot through a 4" refractor with his Nikon D70 using 2 second exposures. Click the photo to see it up close; it really is incredible!

Wow, amazing shots, specially the second one.
Vancouver was cloudy yesterday, so no lunar eclipse for us this time.
