Snowy Day

We finally got our first significant snow of the year. I'm guessing that we've received at least four inches, and we may still get more tonight. (I hope so, we really need the precipitation, and I love the snow.)

I arrived at work early this morning, and by ten o'clock, the snow was falling quite heavily. I decided to bail out at noon to avoid the evening rush hour on the icy streets. I'm glad I did, too, because the roads were pretty slushy.

Of course, once the boys got home from school, they had a grand ol' time playing in the snow.

Good shots Scott! I love the mini snowman- from your previous snow post- that was the cutest thing.

I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one that took a half day to spend with their kids.

And I like that first shot with the berries. Good color contrast.

Gaz, thanks. I like that "B&W" one too. The whole day was very B&W. I like that photo a lot, even though it's my neighbor's yard. The way the snow hangs on those Leyland Cypress is really pretty.
