"If we are to have peace on earth ... our loyalties must transcend our race, our tribe, our class, and our nation; and this means we must develop a world perspective. No individual can live alone, no nation can live alone, and as long as we try, the more we are going to have war in this world. We must either learn to live together as brothers or we are all going to perish together as fools."
Martin Luther King, Jr. 1967

You know, everyone's predicting a change in the house and possibly senate, but I'm not convinced it's going to happen. Not saying I don't think it should, just I don't think the polls are capturing who's going to show up to vote.
That's why EVERYBODY must vote!
Not sure that works out for a change either. I'm pretty sure that if EVERYBODY votes, Republicans maintain control of both houses.
The best chance for a change is that the Republican base becomes disillusioned with the administration and simply stays at home.
That was great. I really hope that change will happen...
Well, it happened. I had given up hope after 2004. I had thought it would take another twenty years. I guess I can put away my copy of The Handmaid's Tale for another two years.
