Field Trip to Jamestown

This year, Becky and I both got to travel down to Jamestown with the kids.  We pulled Eddie out of school for the day on Friday, and accompanied the 4th graders down to Jamestown and Yorktown for their big historic field trip.

The weather was exceptional--cool and sunny.  It was a really nice break from the busy work of the past few weeks.  Plus, the exhibits were incredibly interesting, especially the re-enactments.

We stayed the night in Williamsburg, and hit up Historic Jamestowne the next day, before heading back for home late Saturday afternoon.
