International Night... a big success!

Here are some photos from International Night at the boys' school. Thanks to Tiffany, the president of the PTA, for organizing such a great night. I had been looking forward to this night all week, and it did not disappoint.

Besides my Scotland display, we had presentations from China, Korea, Vietnam, Azerbaijan, Russia, Greece, Argentina, Germany, England, Panama, India, and many, many more. It was really cool to see all the cultures and, most of all, eat their foods!

There were also several live performances through the night: Irish step dancing, the LVHS German club singing Beatles songs in German, and some really awesome salsa dancing.

My favorite part of the night was when Ed Devinney came up to me and asked, "So, what is worn under the kilt?" And I, not missing a beat, replied, "Nothing is worn under the kilt! Everything is in perfect working order!" He set it up, and I hit it out of the park. I had been waiting for this one, and finally someone knew to spring it on me. Well done, Ed. Well done. You made my night.
