Reply from Mr. Korman!!!

"Luke, Luke!  You have mail!"  This is what I shouted as I walked into the house.  "It's from the author you wrote to!  Luke!!  Come here!"

In the mail today, was a curious looking letter from a New York publisher.  On it was stamped "From Gordon Korman", author of Swindle, Zoobreak, and Pop!  This was cool.  A reply from the author Luke had written to for his book report a while back.  (See Luke's original letter here.)

When we opened the letter, we were elated to see that Luke had received a personal reply from Mr. Korman, addressing specifically the points Luke had raised.  This was no factory produced form letter, but an actual reply from the author.

Luke was really jazzed to get this letter, and cannot wait to show his teacher on Monday.  Click on the image below to read the letter.

Way to go, Luke!!

Congratulations Luke! How awesome is it that Mr. Korman answered your letter himself! I know he must have really enjoyed your letter to take the time to answer it!

That is awesome! I'll have to have my boys look into Mr. Korman's books - he's an author we're not familiar with (I don't think).

Oh my goodness that is so cool! I love that he himself replied to Luke in such a personal letter. I think that is great!

Great job Luke. You are showing great inspiration and I think your Mom and Dad should be able to look forward to retiring young. When you make your first million by age 25 they should be able to live comfortably off you for the rest of their lives. Keep up the good work. Your Mom and Dad are counting on you!
