Dinner at Dan and Judy's

It's been a long, long winter, and to break the monotony, Dan and Judy invited us all over for dinner. Luke got to set up an awesome domino course with Dan's dominoes, and Eddie serenaded us all with his latest rendition of Over the Rainbow.

Judy spent the last three days making dinner. Having lived in India for a decade or so, Judy has become quite adept at making curries, dal, nan, and other Indian delicacies. She even made her own panir (cheese) for the "cheese and peas" dish.

The food was excellent, but the company was even better. We're so blessed to have neighbors as wonderful as Dan and Judy. They're a rare lot, and we really love them dearly.

If only we could get them to take down that garish birdhouse in their side yard!

What garish birdhouse? Wait until you hit your late 50's - with it comes yardart & birdhouses & feeders. The thing is you've finally reached an age where you don't really care what everyone thinkd & do what you want to!

I'm sure your lovely dinner more than makes up for the birdhouse.

I think you should have included a picture of the Garish birdhouse so that we could judge whether your taste is skewed or theirs. I'm betting now that I will think it is a lovely bird house.
