Bear's Den Camping

Here are some photos from last night's camping at Bear's Den. Last night, it poured and poured! Luckily, Eddie, Luke and I constructed a large tarpaulin fly over our tent, so at least we stayed dry on the inside. However, when it was time to strike camp and leave, we were forced to tear down in the drizzly rain and yucky mud.

What is this, Camp Beverly Hill's? How many scout groups have cookouts involving lobster? It looks like you had a good sized group. I'm sure the kids had a great time inspite of the rain, mud & muck!

Most of us supped on foil dinners... Eddie and I had tamales with chili con carne and corn in ours. It was delicious and worked perfectly as a foil dinner. Luke had foil dinner pizza, which also worked well.

It was only one parent who brought clams, mussels and lobster. He's "roughing it" in that he left the wine at home. You can guess where Eddie glued himself for his "2nd supper"!
