Gone Fishing

Last Friday, we took the boys and some of their cub scout friends fishing at Franklin Park. The park has a nice little fishing pond, with a couple of docks that make it easy for beginners to fish. They stock it with bass and bluegill, which means you have a fairly good chance of catching something.

Eddie and Luke are seasoned fishermen, but some of the boys had never fished before. So, they learned to bait their own hooks, and even caught a few bluegill. (Which we promptly released.) Thanks to Ken G. for the camera phone photos.
