The snow on the birdhouses certainly says winter is here!!We've had 2 snows in the past week & are expecting more heavier snow thru the weekend. Our significant "snow event" as they call it up here, gave us 6" total snow & a good covering of ice on all of the roads & sidewalks. Since it stays so cold, we have a lovely underbase of ice on most roads - the only ones treated are major highways. At least the people here are used to driving on the stuff & don't usually cause trouble on the roads.
