Dulles Day

Today was our family tradition of visiting the Dulles Day fair. We've gotten good at showing up at the last hour of the day, as all the other people are filing towards their cars, and hitting all the planes in something like 30 minutes (since all the lines are short).

We got to see some cool planes today. There was an American Airlines DC-3, the Flagship Detroit, which was meticulously restored in the original livery and interior. We went on one of the C-54's used in the Berlin airlift. "Helen" was a nicely restored B-24 from World War II. There were also various Fed-Ex planes and a C-130 that we could go inside.

Here are some photo highlights of the day.
