Sky Meadows

Today, it was such a beautiful day, that Becky would not allow me to nap on the couch any longer, and dragged me bodily out of the house to go on a hike. Our destination was Sky Meadows State Park, which is a lovely set of hiking trails among the nearby mountains and meadows just south of us.

nice pictures. Did you do anything special with the purple/bee picture. That one is really nice; really pops out at you.

Nope. I just adjusted the levels a bit, but nothing else.

Great pictures. WHo's black dog with you? I love the bee on the clover.

That’s Gretel. We’re watching her this weekend.

Incidentally, that’s a thistle, not a clover. I love that picture too!

i'm going to ditto the other comments and say how impressed i am with the thistle photo. wonderful - it puts mine to shame.
was it taken with your lumix?

Yeah, that's the Lumix. Thanks for the compliments. I really liked the photo too. You know, you take 1,000 photos, and every now and then...
