Cheesecake and Dry Ice

Every year at Christmas, Becky's cousin Mary gives us a gorgeous cheesecake from Junior's in New York City. (I mean, these are the best!) And we're always grateful to receive them.

However, this year, the cheesecake came with a three pound chunk of dry ice. Cool! I donned an oven mitt and hollered at the boys, "Boys!! Boys! Come and see the science experiment!"

This always brings them running.

We ran out onto the driveway, filled a bucket with warm water, and dropped the ice into the bucket. It was a cool demonstration on boiling points and the states of matter. Plus, it was just really cool.

Thanks, Mary. I hope the cheesecake will bring as much enjoyment as the dry ice did. (I'm sure it will.)
