Barry asked me to provide a picture of the current spot where the patio would go. Here it is. This is a low quality picture from one of my videos, but good enough to see how the patio would be placed. Pretty much everything you see that's grass in this photo would be patio, with steps down from the garage deck to make it level. The mulch bed on the right would exist as is, but the stone wall would define it from the patio and keep the elevation of the bed intact.
