Pinewood Derby
It must be said that I didn't think I would make it to this event today. Last night at 2am, I was viciously sick and throwing up. I felt absolutely terrible, but since I am pretty much the only person who knows how to run the Racetrack software, I was essential. I also didn't want to miss the boys' races. So I managed to make it to the derby, and then collapsed into bed afterward and slept for four hours. I'm feeling a little bit better now, but I haven't eaten in 24 hrs.
Our Cub Scout pack held their Pinewood Derby today, and there were some really fast cars! All of the boys, siblings and parents had some great looking cars. A couple of especially cool designs were cars that looked like Superman and a very realistic banana. Of course, if you keep up with the blog, you know that Eddie and Luke had very original designs.
Here are the race-day winners. These boys get to go on to district competition.
