The tigers took a very short trip into Leesburg to learn how a radio station works. We stopped in on DJ Jim at WAGE radio--that's 1200 AM on the dial.The boys learned about the computer controlling the radio, how a newscast is made, and they even got to make a commercial, which got played on the air! Radio sure is a lot cooler than anybody thought it could be!
And have you ever tried to stuff a dozen cub scouts into a radio booth? Suddenly, the word 'sardines' comes to mind.
