A Taste of Burma

Last night, to celebrate Sharon's birthday, the gang all went to A Taste of Burma on Edds Lane in Sterling. Burmese cooking is a delicious blend between Thai-like dishes with curries inspired by India. Dinner was superb, and the prices were very reasonable.

For appetizers, we ordered Samosas and Baya Byaw (Split Yellow Pea Fritters). Then, we supped on Nyat Kaukswe (Malaysian Style Noodles), Green Curry Vegetables and Chicken, PaZun Shwe Phayon (Shrimp and Asian Pumpkin), and Ngar Hin (Fish Curry). And for dessert, a delicious milkshake called Burmese Furluda (rose syrup, milk, ice cream, pudding, shredded coconut, farluda noodles, and pistacio).

Dinner was superb! I highly recommend the place.
