Coconut Cake!

I have the best family in the world! After I got home from soccer practice this evening, Becky made me fried pork chops with country gravy, mashed Yukon Gold potatoes, and buttered green beans. Then, for dessert, a fresh homemade three-layer coconut cake! Oh. My. God. It was good!

They all sang to me, and then it was present time.

Eddie got me a sunshade for my car, which I'm told it took him two hours to pick out. (He shops like Tio Adolfo, taking his time to find the one exactly perfect present.) Luke picked me out an Aquaman T-shirt, which took him two minutes to pick out. (He shops like me.) And Becky bought me some nice red wine glasses and a lovely book on Appreciating Whisky by Phillip Hills.
